Mumbai University Admission Cut Off

(Hons) at SRCC is 97.75%. In humanities stream, Khalsa again set the highest cut-off at 99 per cent for BA (Hons) Political Science, PTI citing the list available on DU website reported. As according to data provided by the university around 3072674 students applied for various under graduate courses to take admission in Delhi University.

The college staff said it may be one reason why the number of admissions on the first day was not huge.

Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), is a premier government university located in New Delhi, India. However, certain courses in some colleges have seen unexpected high in cut-offs, with Janki Devi Memorial College raising the bar for BA History (Hons) from 85 to 90 per cent.

At Ramjas College, the cut off for B.Com (H) is at 97.5 per cent, a dip of 1.75 percentage points from last year's 99.25 per cent. Eco (H) is at 97.5 per cent as against 98.5 per cent last year. At Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), admissions for B.A. (Hons.) Economics opened at 98.25% and closed at 97.25%.

The premier college for commerce brought down the cut-off fractionally for both the courses from a year ago. Both the subjects witnessed a drop of 1.75 percent and 1 per cent respectively from previous year. SGTB Khalsa college has set the cut off at 98.25% which is 0.25% more than the cut off for B.Com. (H). "This year, we tried to set a very realistic cut-off, as last year we could not admit many students in the first cut-off list", said Ramjas Principal PC Tulsian. Admission to 54,000 undergraduate seats of various DU colleges received over 2.5 lakh applications. After such a huge first cut off list for session 2017-18, students seeking admission in DU will have to wait for the second cut-off list that is expected to be out on 1st July.

Many top colleges of the Delhi University have recorded a dip in their cut-off for admissions in most courses. The timing for the admission in the colleges is from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

It left behind others when it came to sciences with the highest 99.66 per cent cut-off for B.Sc. (Electronics).
