"To isolate a country's population in every respect is inhumane", the Turkish leader told his ruling Justice and Development Party in a weekly Parliamentary address in Ankara on Tuesday.

Erdogan has also strongly denied accusations that Qatar supports terrorism, arguing the country had been a staunch opponent of the Islamic State group.

Accompanied by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, and Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, the premier held meeting with Saudi King Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz at the Jeddah Royal Palace to discuss the crisis engulfing the Middle East.

A crisis in the Persian Gulf began last week when Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and several other countries severed relations with Qatar.

Last week, Erdogan has ratified two deals allowing Turkish troops deploying to Qatar and training its gendarmerie, stressing that Turkey "will continue and develop" ties with Qatar. Qatar has dismissed the allegations as a "campaign of incitement" which is "based on lies".

"Qatar has shown the most decisive stance against the terrorist organisation Islamic State alongside Turkey". "Pakistan has deep concerns over Gulf diplomatic crisis", PM said, adding that they would try to resolve the Saudi-Qatar rift through bilateral talks.

Hassan Hassan, a Syria expert, said Qatar has never supported al-Qaida or IS direct. He said Saudi Arabia has allowed families to move between countries.

Qatar Airways also stopped its flights to the four Arab countries in response to the UAE's Etihad, Emirates, FlyDubai, EgyptAir and Bahrain's Gulf Air suspending flights to Qatar.

There was no immediate comment from the US.

The bovines, brought in Australia and the U.S., will be flown in through Qatar Airways.
