White House communications director Mike Dubke resigns

"We have a MASSIVE trade deficit with Germany, plus they pay FAR LESS than they should on North Atlantic Treaty Organisation & military". Dems would do it, no doubt!

U.S. President Donald Trump is defending Jared Kushner, his son-in-law and a senior White House adviser, who news reports say attempted to establish a back-channel communications link to Russian officials in the weeks before Trump assumed power in January.

Additionally, Republican Sen. John McCain told an Australian news station that he was not pleased to hear reports regarding Kushner.

"I'm going to presume he did this at the behest of the President-elect of the United States", Philip Mudd told CNN. Gave me full details!

"I suggest that we add more dollars to Healthcare and make it the best anywhere". "When in fact, you all in all of the meetings watched the president with that one earpiece that's been used by all the other presidents..."

CNN reported Kushner made the communications request in December while he was still a private citizen. Trump fired Comey after allegedly asking him to drop the probe into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and his close ties to the Kremlin.

Palestinian prisoners in Israel end hunger strike
In the second week of May, a Palestinian was killed in the West Bank during a rally in support of the striking prisoners. Around 550 Palestinian prisoners have not even been put through the charade of a court appearance.

- In an interview on CNN Tuesday, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said he believed Russian Federation aggressively interfered in the 2016 presidential election.

The White House faces mounting questions about potential ties between Russian Federation and Mr Trump's presidential campaign, which are also the subject of criminal and congressional investigations.

When asked if he was sure Russian Federation meddled in the election, Clapper responded: "Absolutely".

Kushner reportedly flew home Thursday from Rome with his wife, Ivanka Trump, and arrived in his West Wing office on Friday to meet with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus to discuss the presidential trip.

Trump marked his return to the USA this weekend with a flurry of Twitter posts about a Republican health care overhaul, a double-murder in OR, the North Korean missile test and several messages lashing out at the "fake news" media after not holding a press conference once during his overseas trip. "It has also been my distinct pleasure to work side-by-side, day-by-day with the staff of the communications and press departments", Dubke said in a statement.

Dubke said he had "a good conversation with the President" after submitting his resignation.
