Android O Developer Preview arrives nearly complete - Full release coming soon

It's been almost two months since Google last released a new Android O Developer Preview update, but today that drought is finally ending. We'll be testing it soon, but we can confidently guess it'll probably run just about all of your apps without fail-something that developer preview 3 couldn't do.

Google released the initial Android O Developer Preview back in March, and I've been using it ever since on my Pixel XL. No other device is supported for the beta release. The big features in Android O are a lot of under the hood changes including Android Vitals as the company is trying to get quell the unoptimized and power hungry application issue that so many people face. Today the search giant has outed the fourth and final Developer Preview of O. This has always been scheduled to come in July, and the final release of O is expected to hit next month.

SDCC 2017: Stephen Spielberg's Ready Player One gets its first trailer
Man, when this movie comes out in 2018, the theater is gonna be drowning in whispers of "Oh hey it's that thing!" San Diego - Steven Spielberg dives into the world of virtual reality in his adaptation of " Ready Player One ".

Like the previous betas, a Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player or Pixel handset is required to test the beta. This quarter ends on September 30th and we saw Android 7.0 Nougat officially launched on August 22nd so we're expecting it to land around the same time this year as well.

Each new developer preview has introduced something new for curious users to test out, but unless you're a developer, this update doesn't bring anything that hasn't already been seen. A new version of the Android Testing Support Library is also on the way with several new features to streamline application testing.
