Google jumps into job recruitment market with new cloud software

Hire offers businesses a cohesive applicant tracking service that's deeply integrated with G Suite to make it easier for businesses to communicate with their candidates and track their progress through the interview process. At the tim, e the missing piece in that announcement was helping businesses with job hiring tools. Hire, by contrast, is created to address the needs of G Suite customers.

A lot of tools that employees rely on at work are clunky, unintuitive and hard to learn-endless configuration options, tables and lists and mind-numbing data entry. With a mindset of "less is more", the team conducted hundreds of user-testing sessions and worked with early adopter customers for more than a year to simplify and optimize every aspect of the user experience. Hire also comes with built-in data analysis tools to let you identify the most suitable candidate for a role.

Google's new "Hire" app is created to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with their internal hiring process.

Hire joins Google for Jobs, introduced in May for both managers and job seekers. "Google is the answer for businesses that want to grow and scale, bottom line", says Mitch Greenwald, Founder of Cloudbakers, "Google's offerings from G Suite to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) were built with scalable infrastructure in mind, and now Google Hire brings to life the ability to scale alongside the technology, with people".
