Security operation at Ruto's Sugoi home to last overnight
Ruto is the running mate of President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is seeking a second and final term in office in the august 8 elections. The home is surrounded by police as an operation to flush out the gunmen, who were said to be in the compound, continues.

While the Note 8 is widely expected to have its unveiling on August 23 during the Korean tech conglomerate's Unpacked event in NY, an internal document cited by Android Authority has disclosed that the LG V30 will be taking the spotlight for the first time on August 31 at IFA 2017, which will be held in Berlin. The company has already sent media invites for an "Unpacked' launch event to be held in New York City on August 23 and based on the past leaks, we already have a fair idea about the specifications and features of the upcoming phablet". This feature is what is likely to appear on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as a "super night shot". The documents that were prematurely posted on their website don't actually reveal the pre-order date but the dates on some of their promotional terms may be a good indicator about when the much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 will be available for pre-order. With the given camera prowess, the Galaxy Note 8 will take on the likes of OnePlus 5, Honor 8 Pro and Mi 6. As of now, major details about the Note 8 are missing. The remaining key specs, however, remain faithfully similar, including the 5.8-inch 1440p display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 12MP/8MP cameras on the rear and front, respectively, an iris scanner, a dedicated physical button for Bixby, and fast wireless charging. Stay tuned with us for more information on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The device could hit the shelves in early-September, enough ahead of the launching of iPhone 8.

The Active series from Samsung have always come with an added durable body which is MIL-STD certified and will also sport a bigger battery capacity also. The Note 8 is speculated to be available in three colour options: blue, black, and gold.
