Anthony Scaramucci, the American financier who lasted all of ten days as Donald Trump's communications director, will appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert next Monday, according to a tweet by the show's host.

During Scaramucci's short tenure as communications director, Colbert said he looked like "a lawyer whose ad is above the urinal" and the political equivalent of "adding Scrappy-Doo or Chachi to Happy Days".

Scaramucci will be interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday.

Scaramucci was the latest casualty of the Trump administration when he was sacked from his position after only 10 days. In an interview with reporter Ryan Lizza published on July 27, Scaramucci used a string of curse words and leveled insults at his colleagues.

Perseid Meteor Shower happening this weekend
The Perseids are caused when Earth passes through a stream of icy, rocky debris left behind by a comet known as 109P/Swift-Tuttle. Though Perseid meteors do not pose any threat to Earth, outbursts could pose threats to spacecrafts in the area.

In that time, he managed to unleash a NSFW rant to the New Yorker in which he attacked ex-chief of staff Reince Priebus as a "paranoid schizophrenic".

The Mooch also accused reporter Lizza of recording his now infamous New Yorker interview without his permission.

Colbert also lampooned Scaramucci's brief White House stint.

Colbert is one of President Trump's fiercest critics on television. Colbert joked after his ouster.
