Gators rally to beat Kentucky

The way this one ended will be talked about for some time. The Wildcats tried a 49-yard field goal with less than a minute left, but it was no good.

This time, the Gators scored two touchdowns in the final eight minutes to overcome a 27-14 deficit, the second straight week Florida has come from behind to notch a victory in conference play. "I was fractions off of getting the timeout".

Florida's win pushed their streak to 31-straight wins over Kentucky (3-1, 1-1).

TCU controlled the ball and the pace and tone of the game from the beginning, using a massive possession advantage to lean on an overmatched Cowboys defense and survive a late challenge from a powerful Pokes offense en route to a 44-31 victory.

When asked about the procedure with communication and substitutions between players and staff, Stoops took responsibility, and said "Obviously, that can't happen. We have plenty of people that can watch and look for things".

Florida ties it up using their Wildcat. The 9 yard TD play to Garrett "Juice" Johnson makes it 14-7 UK. The Gators outgained the Wildcats 209 to 156 in the final two quarters.

Johnson continued his hot hand in the third quarter. They held the lead until Cleveland's score with 3:16 left. But, Austin MacGinnis hits a 42 yard field goal and United Kingdom goes up 24-14.

Despite the miscues, the Wildcats regained momentum in the second half building a 13-point lead. His long run went for just nine yards, but if Florida keeps feeding him the rock, he has the potential to put up real numbers moving forward.

Despite the advantage, the Wildcats couldn't put the game away. Six plays later, Powell took a direct snap and raced to the left pylon to draw UF within six. An Austin MacGinnis 57-yard field goal as time expired came up just short. His kick came up short.

"That's on me", Stoops said. Meanwhile, the Wildcats converted just one of 10 third-down attempts.

McSorley finished with 284 yards passing on 48 tries.

After halftime, a rested TCU defense intercepted Rudolph in Cowboys territory and turned it into points on a 6-yard Anderson run. The Kadarius Toney 50-yard pass was the spark that the Gators needed.
