A number of former Playboy models including Kendra Wilkinson, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian and more have paid their respects to Hugh Hefner on social media and overseas following the magazine mogul's death.

Hugh Hefner has died at his home in aged 91, Playboy Enterprises said.

Celebrities across the globe have echoed Ms Wrigley's sentiments, with Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian paying tribute to the Playboy founder. "He will be greatly missed by many".

According to media reports, Hugh Hefner's widow model Crystal Harris is expected to inherit nothing of her husband's estimated US$43 million fortune, after being left out of the will, having signed a pre-nuptial agreement.
