Iowa State will be wearing helmets that show off the university's new secondary logo.

For everyone who hates Burnt Orange Nation and its superiority complex, Thursday night's prime-time game at Iowa State presented a flawless opportunity for the once-mighty program to be taken down another notch.

Longhorns running back Chris Warren III scored the first points for the Burnt Orange at Jack Trice Stadium in almost four years when he burst into the end zone on the team's opening drive of the game and finished with 44 yards on a night where it was hard for both teams to run the ball.

Texas: The Longhorns did what they've done so often against Iowa State, pushing the Cyclones around while dictating tempo through the ground game. The Longhorns must shut down redshirt junior quarterback Jacob Park and the Cyclone offense in order to pick up their first road win of the season.

She will not find out if she faces the death penalty until authorities take her from a Virginia jail to Florida for prosecution. Marlene answered the door, while her 21-year-old son Joseph Aherns and his friends were also present in the house.

Iowa State has used various forms of Cyclone marks occasionally in its history. But, contrary to popular belief, good defensive play alone won't win a Big 12 title with the likes of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and TCU lurking with offenses that operate on jet fuel. "It can put you in a tough situation", Iowa State coach Matt Campbell said. Lil'Jordan Humphrey led the way with four catches, and six Longhorns caught at least two passes. Nine plays later, the Longhorns scored on an 11-yard run by junior Chris Warren III. The sophomore went 19-for-26 and a meager 171 yards passing with one touchdown. "A lot of times we got over the 50-yard line and all of the sudden, we just don't execute or don't get any points out of it. Games like this, you can't do it".

Montgomery came into play with 321 yards and four TDs on 5.7 yards per carry.

Park finished 24 of 49 for 246 yards but for the game ISU only had 256 yards of total offense. OU held Ohio State to 16 points. "In a game like this you have got to make critical plays and I thought defensively we were able to do that for most of the evening".

Iowa State will travel to Oklahoma next Saturday, October 7, to battle the Sooners.
