Speculation not helpful, British PM May tells Trump after attack tweet

Donald Trump's suggestion that London police could have done more to prevent Friday's homemade bomb explosion drew a quick rejoinder from British Prime Minister Theresa May, who said it's never helpful "to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation".

He then added: "Loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner", without giving details of what that meant.

In last one year, the United Kingdom has been the target of a string of Islamist-related terrorist attacks.

An improvised explosive device (IED) went off on an underground train during the morning rush hour at a busy station in London, leaving at least 22 people injured, in what Scotland Yard called a "terrorist incident".

On Friday, Trump also tweeted that the internet must be "cut off" to stop further terrorist attacks as it was a "recruiting tool".

Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter on Friday that the travel ban should be "far larger, tougher and more specific".

Scotland Yard also reportedly commented on Trump's tweet saying that it was "unhelpful and pure speculation".

Woman abuses, slaps army personnel in south Delhi
Later, Metropolitan Magistrate Lovleen granted bail to the accused Smriti Kalra after she was produced before the court. A 44-year-old woman was arrested on Friday for abusing and slapping two army officers in Delhi's Vasant Kunj.

He said terrified passengers fled, fearing a second explosion or a gunman, with people being knocked to the ground and crushed in the stampede to escape.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in connection with the attack, though police have not identified or charged him.

The latest version of his travel ban, initially announced in a botched late-January rollout, calls for a ban on people entering the US from a short list of terror-prone countries that are also Muslim-majority nations.

"We have to be tougher and we have to be smarter", Trump told reporters before going into the Oval Office.

Trump is destroying the presidency and the credibility of the United States one tweet at a time.

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments on October 10 on the legality of the bans on travelers from six mostly Muslim countries and refugees anywhere in the world.

The version of the ban permitted by the Supreme Court is Trump's second pass at the policy, which originally banned residents of seven Muslim-majority countries. He and his son Donald Trump Jr both mocked Sadiq Khan after taking the mayor's words of reassurance to Londoners out of context.
