All Blacks recall big guns for South Africa clash

Despite Springbok coach Allister Coetzee publicly writing off his side's chances, Hansen believes that behind the scenes they will be seething over their 57-0 humiliation when they played the All Blacks in New Zealand last month.

'This year's been a great year for us, ' Hansen said after the 25-24 win against South Africa at Newlands ensured the world champions maintained their southern hemisphere domination.

"I feel sorry for the players", Coetzee said.

South Africa pulled back to 15-15, with tries from Ross Cronje and Jean-Luc du Preez sandwiching one from Rieko Ioane.

Hansen suggested the team were continuing to progress after an extraordinary 2016 when, with a team in transition, they set a record 18-match winning streak before finally tasting defeat to Ireland in Chicago last November.

Coetzee said he knew the areas that required further work: "We had them under pressure at times, but you can not give the ball away against New Zealand".

Turkey backs Syrian rebels for "serious operation" in Idlib
Erdogan said Turkey would not desert civilians in Idlib and would not allow a "terror corridor" in northern Syria. The agreement came despite Russian Federation and Iran backing President Assad and Turkey wanting him gone.

"Our skill execution, our physicality and our ability to play our "triple threat" game will be critical", he added, referring to the All Blacks plan to keep the opposition guessing whether they will run, pass or kick.

The champs also came through after losing playmaker Beauden Barrett to a head knock midway through the first half, and risky winger Nehe Milner-Skudder to a dislocated right shoulder at the end of the half.

All Blacks captain Kieran Read said his players lacked the intensity of the Springboks. We understand what we do when we do it.

"Whilst we've left some people out that people might've thought might have got a game, or we could've given someone else a rest, there's a bigger picture and we know where we're going with the rest and stuff".

"To do that you've got to play a good team".

"We scored a maul-try with 14 men on the field against the best team in the world, those things build belief". That is what we are looking for.
