Los Angeles Chargers vs Philadelphia Eagles

Copycat League: Will Teams Attack Eagles' D the Way Giants Did?

Basically, they'll be Screech.

There's plenty of blame to spread around for the Chargers potentially going to 0-4 for the first time since 2003.

Back in September 2013, the Chargers squeaked out of Lincoln Financial Field with a 33-30 victory over the Eagles in a game that came down to the wire. All three are crucial towards the success of the Eagles secondary.

The good news for the Eagles is that they just faced a good pair of defensive ends on Sunday.

Philip Rivers had one of his worst performances in recent memory last week against the Chiefs. Running back Melvin Gordon rushed 17 carries for 79 yards and one touchdown. Chargers QB Philip Rivers has five touchdown passes against zero interceptions in two meetings against the Eagles.

It was Rivers' first bad statistical game of the year as Lynn still has no clue how to prepare a throw-first team or gameday coach a guy that's probably a Super Bowl ring away from the Hall of Fame.

The Eagles offensive line has allowed their quarterback to be sacked 11 times, which is fifth most in the NFL.

Russian Opposition Leader Alexei Navalny is Detained Again
The Interior Ministry said in a statement Friday that Navalny was detained because of his calls for unsanctioned rallies. The activist was due to speak at pre-election opposition rally in Nizhny Novgorod on Friday.

The Los Angeles Chargers are heading into their week four match-up against the Philadelphia Eagles with their season potentially on the line. Usually one of the best third-down offenses in football, the Chargers are now at 30.3 percent (10 of 33) with the chance to extend drives. The Eagles' most productive weapon in the passing game, though, is tight end Zach Ertz. The big-bodied wide receiver shielded his defender and pulled in an 8-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Carson Wentz on a slant across the middle to give the Eagles an early 7-0 lead. Philly's defense will have a unique test of their own to pass against the Chargers.

Reuters/Geoff Burke-USA TODAY SportsNew England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (10) and quarterback Tom Brady (12) run onto the field before the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium, Jan. 22, 2017.

But even if he's able to keep a clean sheet this time around, there's still a decent chance we see a missed FG in this one.

The Eagles showed great resiliency in their win against the Giants last week, but they were not without their struggles due to those injuries. Ingram, with 5½, is second in the National Football League and Bosa is coming off a rookie season in which he had 10½.

Pederson has his fingers crossed that Cox's injury won't linger.

A long, scenic trip across the country awaits the Philadelphia Eagles (2-1) as they travel to the claustrophobic confines of a soccer stadium to take on the winless Los Angeles Chargers (0-3) at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
