Fox released the first trailer for "The New Mutants", the next installment of their successful "X-Men" franchise.

There's clearly a major contrast between the on-screen styles of New Mutants and the X-Men, leaving many wondering if this new film would even take place in the same universe as the others. Alice Braga plays Dr. Cecilia Reyes. With an unsettling cover of Plink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" and a number of disturbing images and jump scares to boot, New Mutants looks completely different than anything we've seen in the genre before. The movie is the spin-off from the X-Men franchise. The scenes in the trailer looked extremely well shot and there is no doubt in saying that Marvel has yet again nailed the art of making a great Superhero Action movie.

A Nintendo Game Boy Classic could be the next retro redo
There were 1,049 games released for the handheld, so Nintendo shouldn't have any trouble choosing a couple of dozen. That move seems even more likely as the 30th anniversary of the first Game Boy will happen in 2019.

Fox has previously stated that the film's horror esthetics is based on The Demon Bear Saga, which might sound silly but is actually one of the best storylines involving the young heroes.

"...a darker and more surreal and impressionistic X-Men series than we'd ever seen before".

On the first Friday the 13th of 2018 we'll get the chance to meet New Mutants.
