Moments after CBS cancelled Wisdom of the Crowd, embattled star Jeremy Piven thanked fans for their support.

Nine of the episodes have already aired, and the remaining four are reportedly going to air in the show's regular Sunday time slot at 8 p.m. ET.

HBO issued a statement saying that the network has "zero tolerance for sexual harassment", while CBS said the network was "looking into the matter".

Last week, CBS fired broadcaster Charlie Rose for "extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior" following a Washington Post report about his alleged unwanted sexual advances toward women.

It should be noted that Wisdom of the Crowd wasn't breaking any ratings records. The show first aired in October.

On Oct. 30, former Playboy model Ariane Bellamar similarly accused Piven of cornering and groping her on the set of Entourage.

CBS didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from HuffPost regarding the circumstances of the show's cancellation, but it's worth noting ― allegations against Piven aside ― the show wasn't exactly a smash hit. It did not happen. A third accuser, advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby, came forward on November 9, detailing a forced encounter with Piven in 2003. "As a human being, I feel compassion for the victims of such acts, but I am perplexed as to the misdirection of anger with false accusations against me and hope they do not detract from the stories that should be heard".

On Nov. 24, Amy Meanor and Anastasia Taneie told BuzzFeed News Piven sexually assaulted them in the past. Freshman sitcom "Me, Myself and I" was canceled earlier this season.
