Quake strikes Iran's border towns with Iraq, several killed
Iran's state TV reported that at least eight villages were damaged in the natural disaster . It initially said the quake was of a magnitude 7.2, before revising it to 7.3.

On Monday, the man went to Induja's home and demanded to speak to her but the family refused to let him in. Enraged, Aakash allegedly doused her in kerosene, set her on fire and fled from the spot, police said.

NDTV quoted the police as saying that even though Induja's family had rebuffed him, he said they were in a relationship and had plans of getting married.

Neighbours, hearing cries, rushed to help the family and rushed them to hospital.

When the three women came out, he reportedly threw petrol on them and ignited it with a cigarette lighter.

Media reports cited neighbours claiming that the ambulance arrived too late, at least 40 minutes after a call was made. While a few reports have claimed that the accused is an engineering graduate, another report stated that he is a college dropout.
