Simon Mignolet was fortunate to not be shown a red card during Liverpool's clash with Stoke, with the Belgium global hacking down Mame Biram Diouf just ahead of the half-time whistle.

"I don't think we got the benefit of the doubt from the officials on too many occasions tonight, to be perfectly honest.

There were two defenders around the situation and he is not the last man", the German told BBC Sport.
