The fourth "Avengers" movie will be a key inflexion point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to producer Kevin Feige.

Every Marvel hero: As Uproxx reported, "Avengers: Infinity War" will star every Marvel Cinematic Universe character seen over the last 10 years, including Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther, Vision, Spider-Man, Captain America, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Falcon, Bucky Barnes, Scarlet Witch, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Wasp, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel and so many more.

We're eagerly anticipating the epic team-up of superheroes that will undoubtedly happen when Avengers: Infinity War premieres next year, but in the meantime, a newly tweeted image gives us a sneak peek of the extensive female cast we can look forward to seeing in Marvel's upcoming comic-inspired feature. "I know it will not be in ways people are expecting". The unnamed Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019. Marvel has films scheduled all the way into 2020, and Feige teased that the studio has films in the pipeline that "completely different from anything that's come before - intentionally".

Johannson's multi-film contract with the MCU is set to expire after Avengers 4, as are those of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.

In case you haven't noticed, the marketing campaign for Avengers: Infinity War began this week.

The poster should look familiar to Marvel fans, as it mimics the simple yet effective design of the Avengers logo that we've seen on the posters for both 2012's The Avengers and 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The third instalment "Avengers: Infinity War" is due in May 2018.

"We'll take blame for the scale, because we were pushing for it", Joe told Vanity Fair.
