Prince William handed over the letter to "Santa" today during his royal tour in Helsinki, Finland.

William even added that his son had been "nice" during the past year - the schoolboy prince had circled nice rather than naughty at the top of the letter. "Love, George", he signed the note.

Just when you thought you've seen all the Prince George cuteness that you can handle, his Christmas wish list has been made public.

George is also sufficiently canny to realise that if he is to stand any chance of finding that police vehicle under the tree on Christmas morning, he had better try to convince Father Christmas that he has been a good boy.

The youngster appears to have also circled an option stressing he's been on his best behaviour for the a year ago.

Earlier the prince met with former United States vice president Al Gore when the campaigner opened the festival. William's official two-day trip to Finland in celebration of the country's 100th anniversary of Independence came just days after the engagement of his younger brother, Prince Harry, to American actress Meghan Markle.

Before meeting Father Christmas, William went on a walkabout in a nearby park, greeting hundreds of well-wishers who braved freezing conditions.

William is making his first official visit to the Nordic nation, which is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its independence from Russian Federation in 1917 with a year-long series of events. Impressive royal behavior for a 4-year-old.
